William Nicholls Ltd was established in 1976 by Bill Nicholls. He was previously working for a builders merchant doing area representation and procurement. He saw the opportunity to branch out on his own and they have never looked back.
William Nicholls Ltd has remained a family business and is now run by Peter Nicholls. Peter has continued the main principles of the business being a valuable service for builders and developers to aid the buying and supplying of their material requirements.
Peter works closely with his clients and their architects and engineers, getting involved in the early stages to help advise on the best materials to use, also spotting areas of the build that will need early order dates to avoid costly on-site delays. Another benefit to his early involvement is to use his experience to question the design practicality – again, to prevent the builder having any on-site problems.
